Week-end in harmony...:)

This week end I turned out to be lonely but not alone...I spend my time bicycling, drinking coffe with black chocolate and reading a lot of intresting inspiring books amoung them Sally Mann...I adore her way of thinking and see this world through her amazing pictures. I feel quite identified with her phrase I share beneath, which just means the hardest and the easiest thing we are looking for. That is

".....I struggle with enormous discrepancies: between the reality of motherhood and the image of it, between my love for my home and the need to travel, between the varied and seductive paths of the heart. The lessons of impermanance, the occasional despair and the muse, so tenuously moored, all visit their needs upon me and I dig deeply for the spiritual utilities that restore me: my love for the place, for the one man left, for my children and friends and the great green pulse of spring".Sally Mann - Still Time catalogue Alleghany Highlands Arts and Crafts

Oporto thoughts

ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL, BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS

These days I remember a lot "Animal Farm" of George Orwell. There are different reasons of it: personal circumstances and sensations and may recent general events...Anyway, It is not the right place to go deeper.  What I rememeber is this frase:

"No question now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which."
